Pond Hockey Tournament & Winter Festival
Wally Ice Fest celebrates everything we love about winter: snow, ice, and some good, old-fashioned pond hockey. This winter sports festival occurs in the Lake Wallenpaupack region in late January or early February, weather permitting. Currently, the festival is held at Lake Russell Maple Farm in Newfoundland.
You haven’t really played hockey until you’ve bundled up and played outside. Round up a team and join the Pocono Pond Hockey Tournament, the festival’s signature event.
The festival also hosts fun winter activities on and off the ice, like public skating, curling, axe throwing, and more. Stick around for live music and entertainment, browse through local vendors, and kick back with food trucks and fire pits.
