Pocono Indian Museum in East Stroudsburg is the only museum in NEPA dedicated to tracing the history of the Delaware tribe. Both NEPA residents and travelers from all over the world visit to learn more about this interesting culture and period of time. The museum is located inside of an 1840s mansion that’s rich with history. Take a trip back in time to 10,500 BC, and learn more about the tribe’s history through displays of artifacts, weapons, tools, pottery, and more. The tour is 30 minutes long and self-guided. The museum provides audio devices that narrate the displays.

And make sure to visit the gift shop on the way out for a unique souvenir. There’s even a library section to further your knowledge of Native American history.
