A Creative Space for Students & the Community

Located on the campus of Misericordia University in Dallas, the Pauly Friedman Art Gallery serves the campus and surrounding communities in Luzerne County with a variety of art exhibitions and programs.

The 2,700-square-foot gallery was dedicated in 2009 in honor of the late Pauly Friedman, who served as the first president of Misericordia’s art gallery in 1977. The gallery has hosted countless exhibitions featuring highly acclaimed artists from around the world.

The gallery is currently a non-collecting institution and maintains a small historical collection. The gallery does not sell artwork or provide appraisals.

The Pauly Friedman Art Gallery is located inside Sandy and Marlene Insalaco Hall. Exhibitions are always free admission for all ages. Educational programs range from free to a nominal fee.
