Experience The Electric City’s Dark Side
Explore a play between worlds of gilt elegance, oddity and Gothic whimsy at Scranton’s newest entry in the downtown bar/restaurant scene. Noir Dark Spirits, at the corner of Penn Ave. and Linden Street offers a uniquely curious night out.
The comfy, yet surprisingly cavernous space warms under the low light of three ornate candelabra chandeliers. A polished bar stretches the room and the gaze along delicate woodwork and the occasional bit of odd kitsch. Intimate seating welcomes daring diners to a truly uncommon culinary endeavor. The classically trained bar staff serves up scrupulously crafted unique cocktails – all under the strangely fitting and stern gaze of a water buffalo. Don’t ask. Just go and see for yourself.
Menu Highlights
Noir offers a full menu of contemporary plates in a fun, sharable format. Explore unique bites like bison, venison and kangaroo charcuterie. Inject (literally) a little flavor into your plate of skull-shaped garlicky gouda bread. Entrees tiptoe a similar line between the tasty and the odd. Dig into their Meunster Mash burger featuring a mix of bison, lamb, duck and antelope. Or, go for the Blood Mac Melt with a cauldron of Bloody Mary tomato sauce.
