Locally sourced craft beers, fine wines, and a compelling selection of whiskies and cocktails
There’s no denying that Jim Thorpe is a cool place, so come visit Marion Hose Bar in the heart of town for an ultra-cool dining experience to match.
Marion Hose Bar is situated in a newly renovated bar in the historic Marion Hose Co. No. 1 Firehouse. You’ll be able to feel the history in the air as you enjoy local craft beers, fine wine, and a delectable bite to eat.
There are also daily drink specials, thirteen different kinds of whiskey, and modern specialty cocktails.
Nothing will pair better with your ice-cold craft beer than Bavarian Beer Pretzels to start. They’re served with Berwick Beer mustard and a Gouda cheese sauce that will have you licking the container clean.
All of their sandwiches are knockouts, but The Pig Lebowski stands out from the crowd. It features whiskey maple glazed kielbasi, beer braised kraut, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, and Berwick Beer Mustard on a toasted pretzel roll.
If you’d prefer something with a little less meat, try the vegetarian E.L.T., served with eggplant “bacon,” lettuce, beefsteak tomatoes, and poblano whipped goat cheese.
