Where imagination roams free
Your kids will unleash their creativity at the Lackawanna County Children’s Library in Scranton. Located right across the street from the Albright Memorial Library, the Children’s Library offers books and DVDs for a wide range of age levels, from babies to middle schoolers.
The kids will never complain that they’re bored again because the library holds events nearly every day. Your children can build their next masterpiece at the Lego Club meetings or Minecraft Mania nights. If your little reader tears through a stack of books each week, they’ll love chatting with their friends at the junior book club. Older kids can let their creativity shine at the monthly tween open mic nights. At the Second Sunday with Friends program, they’ll have the chance to meet some cool creatures and become wildlife experts.
The Lackawanna County Children’s Library is part of the Lackawanna County Library System. It is open seven days a week.
