Where Imagination Roams Free

Your kids will unleash their creativity at the Lackawanna County Children’s Library in Scranton. Located next door to the Albright Memorial Library, it’s an entire building devoted to the Scranton Public Library’s Children’s Department.

There’s a whole world to discover between the bookshelves. The Children’s Library offers books, DVDs, CDs and more for a wide range of age levels, from babies to middle schoolers. They also have a computer lab.

The kids will never complain that they’re bored again because the library holds programs nearly every day. Story time, book clubs, DIY programs, and more are sure to keep the kids busy. They also have weekend programs with special guests, performances, live animals, and more.

The Lackawanna County Children’s Library is part of the Lackawanna County Library System. Everything is free with a county library card.
