Culture meets the community at Hazleton Art League, a nonprofit that holds events, exhibitions, and classes. Their art gallery displays new local artwork every month. They also teach art classes for kids, teens, and adults. Programs include mediums like drawing, painting, photography, stained glass, jewelry making, pottery, pysanky art, and more.

The Hazleton Art League is located at the Hayden Family Center for the Arts. The facility features gallery space, a computer lab, a pottery studio, a glass cutting studio, a drawing and paining lab, a kid’s classroom, and an outdoor art park.

Hazleton Art League often hosts cultural events like the annual Art Youth Expo and live music. They also organize Peace, Love & Chalk, an annual chalk art competition that takes place during Hazleton Funfest.
