The Greater Shenandoah Area Historical Society preserves the rich history of Shenandoah, as well as the surrounding Schuylkill area. Photos and artifacts of days gone by are shown throughout the museum. More personal pieces, directly from Shenandoah citizens, give a closer look into the lives of locals. You can even explore the town’s coal mining history, which is one of the most popular areas of interest.
