Dingmans Campground in Dingmans Ferry, PA offers rustic camping and river adventures inside the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Situated along the Delaware River, this 65-acre campground provides direct access to outdoor recreation across nearly 70,000 acres of protected parkland. It is the only developed campground on the Pennsylvania side of the park.
The campground features more than 130 campsites spread across wooded areas and scenic riverside locations. Visitors can choose from rustic tent sites, peaceful riverfront campsites or RV sites with water and electrical hookups. Central dump stations and bathhouses provide additional convenience for RV travelers.
Outdoor recreation is easy to reach from the campground. The 32-mile McDade Recreational Trail runs directly through the property, offering opportunities for hiking and biking. The Delaware River is accessible from the campground’s boat launch, while waterfalls, fishing spots and historic sites are located within a short drive.
Dingmans Campground also operates a seasonal canoe and kayak livery. Rentals and shuttle services are available for both campers and day visitors. Popular paddling trips include a scenic 10-mile route to Milford Beach or a longer 20-mile trip to Matamoras.
