Maintained by the Lacawac Sanctuary, Browning Beaver Meadow offers a rewarding outdoor experience that’s completely free and open to the public from dawn to dusk.

The sanctuary features 2.5 miles of hiking trails that meander through hemlock groves, hardwood glens, and along winding creeks and pond shorelines. These gentle trails are perfect for peaceful exploration, whether you’re in search of quiet solitude or a refreshing weekend stroll. The well-marked paths offer just enough variety to keep hikers engaged while showcasing the beauty of the Northeastern Pennsylvania landscape.

For wildlife lovers, a stop at the pondside observation deck is a must.
