Since they opened Brennan’s Big Chill in 2004 in Bloomsburg, Debbie and Brian Brennan have loved providing their customers with what they call “Handmade Excitement”—a new, homemade ice cream experience during every visit.
Brennan’s original recipes have produced more than 200 ice cream varieties that are made on premise with the freshest ingredients.
Incredibly, 42 different flavors are rotated on a daily basis. Brennan’s also specializes in making banana splits, kids sundaes, milkshakes, floats, brownies à la mode, Italian ice, and handmade yogurt.
One of the most talked about items on the menu is the Big Chill Challenge. If a customer can finish eight scoops of ice cream, four toppings, whipped cream, and a cherry, he/she will receive a Big Chill T-shirt, their name and photo will added to the Big Chill Wall of Fame, and name recognition will be given on the website.
