Welcome to PA’s Highest Vertical Drop!
Experience the highest vertical drop of any ski resort in Pennsylvania at Blue Mountain Ski Resort in Palmerton. With a daring 1,087-foot rise from base to summit, skiers and snowboarders can soar down 40 unique trails and test their skills at 5 terrain parks ranging from green to black diamond. Get down and back in a flash with 16 convenient ski lifts featuring quads, triples, doubles, and an incredible high-speed six pack.
Blue Mountain is also home to 46 snow tubing lanes. They extend over 1,000 feet, making them the longest in the state. Blue Mountain offers family tubes along with their single rider tubes. They also have 3 lifts provided specifically for the snow tubing park.
For the little adventurers (and maybe skiers feeling just a bit rusty), Blue Mountain’s professionally-trained staff offers group and private lessons as well as weekly programs designed to foster progressive skill training. All equipment can be purchased, repaired, or rented from two slopeside shops.
Fueling up during the day is easy with a variety of quick stops for snacks and warm drinks throughout the resort. And when you’ve had enough of the mountain, shed the gear and head into the Slopeside Pub and Grill for unmatched views of the Pocono Mountains, great food, and a full bar.
It’s not just all about skiing at Blue Mountain Resort. There are plenty of great outdoor adventures awaiting you all throughout the year. Check out their rock wall, ropes course, zip line, and mountain bike rentals to name just a few.
