Leisure, Shopping & Fun: Fairs & Festivals
Pennsylvania’s Largest Agricultural Fair
The Bloomsburg Fair has gone from a humble exhibit in 1855 to a full-blown, nine-day festival. This beloved NEPA tradition attracts over 350,000 visitors each September.
The Bloomsburg Fair is the final hurrah for the county fair season, and it certainly sends it off in style. The Grandstand presents major national acts each night, from country stars to rock and roll legends. They also feature thrilling entertainment like demolition derbies, truck and tractor pulls and harness racing. You can even get a birds-eye view from the helicopter rides and sky ride.
Bring your appetite, because there’s amazing food around every corner. The Bloomsburg Fair has it all, from classics like fries and funnel cakes to the just plain crazy (anyone up for giant turkey legs or a tasty alligator sandwich?).
There’s something for the entire family at the fair. The kids will love meeting the animals and exploring the rides and games at the midway. You can spend hours browsing rows of vendors and wandering through exhibit halls.
Come experience Pennsylvania’s largest agricultural fair. The sights (and snacks) can’t be missed.
