Victims Resource Center provides a comprehensive range of services to meet the special needs of crime victims, to address issues of violence on an individual and community level and to increase the understanding of the impact of crime on victims to improve their quality of care.
The Victims Resource Center is a private, nonprofit organization that provides advocacy, education and support for victims of all types of crimes, including sexual assault, violence, identity theft and more. Since 1974, they have assisted in the painful transition from victim to survivor.
Victims Resource Center offers services like a 24-hour hotline, support groups, crisis intervention, advocacy, educational programs and more. Their trained counselors and advocates place a high value on individuality, equality and the right of each person to be treated with dignity. They believe that everyone has the right to live free from oppression and violence.
Victims Resource Center has locations in Wilkes-Barre, Tunkhannock and Lehighton.
