Our committed purpose is to bring together a united community to protect the lives of our homeless animals. It is our pursuit to place as many of our animal friends into the compassionate home they undeniably deserve.
True Friends Animal Welfare Center is a no-kill shelter in Montrose. They provide a refuge for homeless and unwanted animals from Susquehanna and Wyoming counties. They also assist in parts of Lackawanna County and surrounding areas.
True Friends gives dogs and cats the second chances they deserve. They help place animals in the right home to match their personalities and needs. In addition to adoption services, they also help owners find lost pets and offer a low-cost spay and neuter program.
