Since 2010, The Exchange has fostered a flourishing arts and culture scene in the Bloomsburg area. This nonprofit runs an art gallery and hosts events year round.

The Exchange Gallery showcases work from regional artists of all ages and experience levels. They hold themed, open-call exhibitions and juried and invitational shows so all artists have the chance to display their work.

The Exchange also holds cultural events like the Destination Blues Listening Room, a monthly concert series that brings great musicians to Bloomsburg. Every August, The Exchange produces ArtFest, a festival in downtown Bloomsburg featuring regional artists, craftspeople, musicians and family activities. They also coordinate Halloween window painting and collaborate on BOO!burg and other community events.

The Exchange reaches out to the community with the Art Cart program, which travels across the region and leads art projects at venues like childcare centers and nursing homes.
