Mission Statement

Empower injured veterans and first responders to see past their injuries and illnesses and find a new purpose in life. Empower caregivers with the network and resources necessary to successfully care and advocate for their injured patriots, while promoting their own well-being.

Patriots Cove in Noxen was founded by a military veteran and his spouse to empower other veterans, first responders and their caregivers to heal and adapt to life after service. They provide fishing events, environmental service projects, educational events and retreats to those who were injured in the line of duty and their caregivers. Overall, they provide a tranquil outdoors experience in an atmosphere of camaraderie, connectedness and serenity.

Their 18-acre property is wheelchair accessible with a lodge home, activities center, pavilion, fishing docks, trails, rest areas and fire pit. Fishing retreats and caregiver activities are exclusive to those injured in the line of duty, as well as those caring and advocating for their needs. Patriots Cove also provides free meals, lodging and fishing equipment. Patriots and caregivers are also welcomed to volunteer as fishing guides and mentors.

Patriots Cove is an event-operated facility. Participants must register for upcoming events at the Patriots Cove website.
