Meals on Wheels of Greater Pittston delivers nutritious meals to the homes of senior citizens and homebound people living in Pittston and surrounding communities. The Pittston program has served the community since 1969 and is one of over 5,000 Meals on Wheels programs in the United States.

Volunteers pack and deliver the meals, providing lunch and dinner to about 60 people per day. The low-cost meals ensure that seniors never have to go hungry.
Meals on Wheels is about more than just feeding those in need. It also helps seniors maintain their independence. Seniors receive a sense of security knowing that volunteers are checking in on their wellbeing.
