Learn to sew in a relaxed atmosphere while working on the project of your choice. In this 5 week session you will work through your pattern while learning: how to read the pattern, sewing terms and techniques, and a variety of other skills that are not written in the instructions. If you need assistance in choosing an appropriate project, do not hesitate to ask. Participants supply their own pattern, fabrics, and basic sewing supplies. You are welcome to use their sewing machines. These classes take place at the White Sewing Center, 735 Oak St, Scranton.
$75 includes 10 hours of sewing instruction.
Class size limited to seven people.
Participants should wear a mask during the class time.
Disinfected working surfaces that are at least six feet apart will be designated to participants.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own sewing equipment. Please let them know if you will need to borrow any supplies so they can be disinfected prior to class.
Hand-washing facilities and sanitizer will be readily available.
If you are feeling ill, please do not come to class. You can always reschedule without a problem.
