National Trails Day Hike through Paradise

This National Trails Day, grab a free drink from Athletic Brewing Co., and take a guided hike on a new trail network that explores pristine Pocono forests along the crystal-clear Cranberry Creek in Paradise Township.
Join local environmental organizations Pocono Heritage Land Trust and Sierra Club on Saturday, June 3, from 1-3 PM to explore a new trail connection that begins on Paradise Township’s Nothstein Preserve, travels through Pocono Heritage Land Trust’s Upper Paradise Nature Preserve, and ends on a trail easement managed by Pocono Heritage Land Trust located at The Oaks Retirement Community.
The American Hiking Society is generously providing free giveaways for the event, including non-alcoholic beers from Athletic Brewing Co.
This is a moderate hike, with some inclines and varied terrain; trail length is 1.8 miles (3.5 mile hike out-and-back). Well-behaved, on-leash dogs welcome. Suitable for children with prior hiking experience/adventurous spirits. Starting point is at the Nothstein Preserve, address: 424 Cranberry Creek Rd. Cresco, PA 18326.
