At The Beekeeper’s Daughter in Plains, what was once a small family hobby in the 1800s has grown into a full-fledged beekeeping operation intent on bringing raw and unfiltered honey to the local market. This means that the honey is sold fresh with the same pollen, aroma, flavor, and texture that it had while in the hive. They offer a range of honey varieties, including Orange Blossom, Saw Palmetto, Wildflower, and Locust Blossom.
Products from the Beekeeper’s Daughter are also available online, and at a range of markets and local stores.

We put on our beekeeping hats and went behind the scenes with The Beekeeper's Daughter to see what all the buzz was about! During our visit the bees were at work producing varieties of honey that included Locust Blossom and the best-selling Wildflower Honey. You can find their hand bottled product online, at local farmers' markets, and in many stores throughout Northeastern PA.
