Nestled in Lake Ariel, L&M Boutique is a one-stop shop for everything clothes and gifts. This vibrant, colorful boutique has eclectic and unique items to elevate your wardrobe. We stopped by to check out their latest styles hitting the shelves for the final stretch of summer.

First, we chatted with L&M owner, Miranda Van Orden, whose love for her store is evident. Van Ordern opened her doors in 2020 in a much smaller space in Hamlin. However, the popular business quickly outgrew that space, and she moved to her current, roomy spot in Lake Ariel. The décor in L&M is immediately eye-catching. Think fun neon lights and lots of greenery and glam. Van Orden wanted to change up the same old, same old and create a new colorful, bright and fun shopping experience. After checking it out for ourselves, it’s safe to say she achieved her goal.

Van Orden had always dreamed of opening a store of her own. When brainstorming what to call her space, she drew inspiration from the two most important people in her life, her two children, Liam and Merci. From there, L&M Boutique was born.

This bedazzled smiley sweatshirt is perfect for the cooler months ahead of us. It can be dressed up or down depending on how you want to style it. We chose these white shorts with a sparkly detail along the seams and pockets. A light purple chain necklace adds another bright pop to this fun look.

This PX black floral shirt is great for a summer cookout or a cooler autumn day. The purple, grey, tan and white flowers pop on this simple black dress shirt. We paired it with a versatile pair of grey shorts and a pair of The Weekenders black loafers.

There’s still time to squeeze in a few more lake days as NEPA wraps up the summer season. This outfit is a must for your next lake adventure. The fringe detail on the bottom of this dress adds a bit of fun to this chill, summer look. We paired it with a fun Boat Life tote. It’s the perfect size to carry all of your essentials- towel, sunscreen, snacks- you name it! An oversized sun hat is also perfect for a cruise around the lake.
