More than 100 people were on hand at Sky Zone Pittston in CenterPoint Commerce & Trade Park West to face off on the court for glow-in-the-dark dodgeball. The “Semper Fly” event was organized by Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services to support the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s annual Toys for Tots campaign.
Every shirt, wristband, chair, step, and pole in the building lit up when the lights went down. Imagine only being able to see part of your target and the ball that’s coming right for you. That’s what it’s like playing glow-in-the-dark dodgeball. Jumping from trampoline to trampoline in hopes of not getting hit is a great workout and just as fun as it sounds – and it’s even more fun knowing that it’s all for such a good cause! Food and drinks were provided to help relax in between games and gain energy for the next!
The event included participation by 15 teams, comprised of members of the Marine Corps and employees of Mericle and its tenants.
