Over 40 breweries, food vendors and a few of the region’s best tribute bands meet on Montage Mountain.
From seasonal stouts and robust porters to IPAs and hard ciders, you’ll find a little bit of everything you love about beer at Rhythm & Brews Festival
NEPA is home to many breweries both big and small.
And with little distance between them, it’s certainly feasible to make a day trip out of visiting each one. Fortunately, thanks to Montage Mountain Resorts and their popular, annual Rhythm & Brews Festival, you can visit many of those breweries and more in one single location.
Every fall, just before our thoughts turn toward ski season, the good folks at Montage Mountain Resorts put together one of the year’s best beer events. Rhythm & Brews combines beer from independent and local craft brewers, great food and incredible live music all under one roof.
Over 75 hand-selected craft beers to sample
The Rhythm & Brews Festival will be hosting over 40 Breweries. You can sample beers from nationally acclaimed craft brewers like Stone Brewing Co., Great lakes Brewing Co. and Dogfish Head Brewery. There will also be new offerings from popular local brewers like Susquehanna Brewing Company, Benny Brewing and North Slope Brewing Company.
Many of the breweries will also be offering hard ciders and special, seasonal beers.
Nothing goes better with a good beer than great music.
During the festival, while making your way from brewery to brewery, be sure to stop by the main stage for some live music. Nationally recognized tribute bands will rock out to the likes of Led Zepplin, Hootie & the Blowfish and Jason Aldean. And local acts will be performing all day in the Independent Brewery Room.
There will be even more fun outside of the beer and music.
You can do a bit of shopping. Local artisans and crafters will be setting up shop offering an assortment of beer and bar themed items. Of course, there will be food, and plenty of it. Local vendors will be filling out the festival line up with delectable handheld treats like sandwiches and fries.
Get inked (or just painted a bit). The Electric City Tattoo Gallery will also be on hand creating beautiful flash art tattoos.
And, for those who are truly serious about beer, the Scranton Brewer’s Guild will conduct three Beer School sessions. During the sessions, local experts will discuss current topics and techniques in brewing.
Don’t miss it!
