Picture This: Zinnia Festival at Lakeland Orchard & Cidery

Lakeland’s First-Ever Flower Festival Is in Full Bloom

Over the weekend, we visited Lakeland Orchard & Cidery in Scott Township for their Zinnia Festival. The event kicked off the opening day of the season at this family farm, which was formerly known as Roba Family Orchard.

Visitors explored two acres of zinnia flowers, which covered the fields in vibrant shades of pink, orange, yellow and purple. The visitors picked bouquets to take home and snapped breathtaking photos among the blooms. Afterwards, they sipped hard cider in the newly expanded Cider Garden, listened to live music and tried out Lakeland’s new axe throwing attraction.

The Zinnia Festival is the perfect way to celebrate the end of summer and ring in a new season at the orchard. The festival continues on August 24 and August 25.
