A Little Chocolate, A Little Beer – Two Iconic Pennsylvania Stories in One Glass
Last night, we made our way to the world-renowned Hotel Hershey for an event nearly 200 years in the making. The stunning, hilltop hotel played host to an exclusive tasting of an exciting collaboration between Yuengling Brewery and The Hershey Company.
The two historic companies have come together to create Yuengling Hershey’s Chocolate Porter. The gorgeously dark pour combines the sticky caramel and roasted malt profile of Yuengling’s famous dark-brewed Porter with Hershey’s rich, creamy chocolate. At 4.7 ABV, this tasty porter delivers a light, perfectly balanced bitterness with versatile flavor that’s willing to pair with just about any hearty fall or winter dish.
This essential fire-pit beer will be available on draft only, and in limited supply from October through Valentine’s Day. You’ll find it at most of your favorite NEPA bars and pubs. And, trust us, you’ll want to seek this one out.
We trekked all the way to Hershey to give it a try, and it was well worth the trip. We also brought our camera along for the ride. Take a look.
