Picture This: Sunflower Festival at Lakeland Orchard & Cidery

Roam Through Fields of Flowers

This weekend, we visited the Sunflower Festival at Lakeland Orchard & Cidery in Scott Township. Formerly known as Roba Family Orchard, this family farm planted over five acres of beautiful blooms for this year’s festival.

Visitors cut their own sunflowers to take home and snapped photos in the picture-perfect fields. Admission also included apple picking in the orchard.

Afterwards, visitors listened to live music, tested their skills at the new axe throwing lanes and said cheers to a great day at the recently expanded Cider Garden.

Between the cheerful sunflowers and the fun fall activities, the festival was the perfect way to say goodbye to summer and kick off the autumn season. The Sunflower Festival continues every Saturday and Sunday through October 14.
