Discover Holiday Magic in the Mountains

The Endless Mountains Visitors Bureau is ringing in the season with An Endless Mountains Christmas. This celebration features special events in Wyoming, Susquehanna and Sullivan counties all throughout the holiday season.

Take a drive into the rolling NEPA countryside and check out the festivities. From light displays to movie marathons to small-town celebrations, you’ll find tons of holly jolly activities. Pick out that perfect tree at a local farm or wrap up your holiday shopping at one of the charming boutique stores. Several businesses will also offer special deals.

We stopped by some of the participating businesses while they were decking the halls. The Dietrich Theater was turning the lobby into a winter wonderland just in time for their 12 Movies of Christmas. Next door, Ebb’s was setting up an outdoor display of wreaths, lights and décor (and offering some tempting holiday goodies inside their candy store). Shops like Mercantile 22 in Tunkhannock and Conklin’s Unique Country in Susquehanna were stocking up on Christmas gifts and décor. And at Bennie’s Tree Farm in Tunkhannock, we walked through acres of evergreens and enjoyed the mountaintop views.

You can pick up a free brochure with a full list of events, deals and participating businesses at the Endless Mountains Visitors Center in Tunkhannock, or by calling (570) 836-5431. You can also find event information and updates on the Visitors Bureau’s website and Facebook page.
