Chilly Autumn Weather Inspires Hearty Beers from NEPA’s Local Craft Breweries
Regardless of how you square it, autumn in Northeastern Pennsylvania is simply perfection. The weather is just right. Everyone’s getting’ all hyped on football and making pots of chili. And we’re ready to fill the fridge with brewery-fresh fall beers.
Right about now, all along the DiscoverNEPA Brewer’s Loop, you’ll find an abundance of seasonal brews. We’re talking darker, malty ambers, red ales, brown ales, velvety porters and stouts — hell, even pumpkin ales make the cut. We made the rounds, talked to the brewers and put together a list.
There’s really little left for you to do but lace up the boots, throw on some flannel and a blanket scarf (yes, they’re back!) and get out there. NEPA’s breweries are ready. And they’ve got a few, tasty fall beers waiting for you.
