Cap Off a Short Work Week with Drive-In Concerts, Monster Movie Marathons and More
Let’s see if we can get summer to stick around for at least one more weekend. Get out on Saturday morning for a little outdoor food and shopping at the Arts & Crafts Fair in Hawley or snag some awesome items from the Osterhout Library’s virtual auction and raffle all weekend.
Track down a little tranquility on the trail Friday morning during the Patriot Day Hike for Veterans at Ricketts Glen State Park. Keep bringing those good vibes on Saturday with a restful Trail Yoga Hike on the D&H Rail Trail.
Jam out from a safe distance at several weekend, drive-in concerts. Catch blues act Billy Strings on Friday and Saturday at Wilkes-Barre’s Mohegan Sun Arena. The Circle Drive-In will be hosting glam metal parody act Steel Panther on Saturday and southern rockers Blackberry Smoke on Sunday.
And, of course, we might as well start looking forward to Halloween. Load up the car and head to the Mahoning Drive-In for their annual Universal Monster Mash. Catch a total of six classic horror features on both Friday and Saturday.
