NEPA Weekend Round-Up 01.08.21

Posted: January 6, 2021
Enjoy a Wintry Weekend on the Slopes and Hiking Trails, at a Local Restaurant, or In Search of Your Favorite New Beer
Keep the good vibes of the new year going all weekend long with a long, chilly hike at one of our beautiful state or local parks. Gear up and take on the fresh powder at one of NEPA’s awesome ski resorts. Slow it down on Saturday morning with a cross country ski adventure at the Pocono Environmental Education Center.
Spend the weekend searching out your new favorite IPA, or winter warmer on the DiscoverNEPA Brewer’s Loop. Stop by the Cooperage in Honesdale and pick up some farm fresh produce at their Main Street Farmers Market. Or, stay home and stay comfy with some delicious takeout from your favorite, local restaurant.
Load the kids in the car and head down to the Bloomsburg Children’s Museum on Saturday for their Special Guest Series featuring feathery friends from Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. Then, on Sunday, treat them to a little relaxation at The Salt Barre in Pittston during their Winter Kids Yoga event.
And don’t forget to carve out a little adult time. Stop by The Grand Bank in Ashley for an empowering art exhibit, a few cocktails and live music. Of course, now that indoor dining is back, you can also enjoy that long-awaited, first date night of 2021.
