New Location Offers a Tasting Room & Bottle Sales
When Jonathan and Maryann Lang started LBC Distillery, their home base was a 220-square-foot garage in Nanticoke. For years, this small-but-mighty distillery welcomed visitors and racked up the awards. Now, they’re expanding and opening a new location on Kennedy Boulevard in Pittston.
Although the original LBC garage will always remain near and dear to NEPA’s heart, the new location offers a perfect space to hang out and relax. The tasting room offers LBC’s artisanal vodka, gin and rum. Try them in a tasting flight, or pick up a bottle to take home. They’ll also serve cocktails, seasonal drinks and Pennsylvania beer and wine. Prepackaged snacks are available, but customers are welcome to bring takeout from Pittston’s many local restaurants.
Despite the changes, LBC is still remaining true to their roots. They will continue making their small-batch spirits at the original location in Nanticoke.
You can find LBC Distillery at 350 Kennedy Boulevard in Pittston. Their grand opening celebration will be on Saturday, September 18 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. They’ll also participate in the Pittston Prohibition, a celebration of local drinks, food and music on September 19.
