Skiers and Snowboarders Shouldn't Have All the Fun
You don’t need epic carving skills or fancy equipment to make the most of the winter sports season. Many of NEPA’s ski resorts also feature snow tubing lanes where the whole family can race down the slopes. All you have to do is plop down in the tube, push off and enjoy the ride.
When it comes to tubing, NEPA goes all out. From massive snow tube parks with over 50 lanes to convenient lifts (no trudging back up the hill), you’ll find everything you need for an awesome day on the mountain. Some resorts even offer nighttime tubing, which is like a party on the mountain complete with lights and music.
So, get out there! Lace up the snow boots, bundle up and take on some of the best snow tubing runs around. Quick note: some resorts require advanced reservations specifically for snow tubing.
Skytop, PA
Join some classic winter fun at Skytop Lodge, a family resort in the Poconos. Their snow tubing hill is open for resort guests and day trip visitors alike.
Palmerton, PA
The thrills are endless at Blue Mountain Resort, home of the longest snow tubing lanes in Pennsylvania. They boast 46 lanes, each stretching over 1,000 feet down the mountain. They even have family-friendly double tubes for twice the fun.
Tannersville, PA
With over 40 lanes, this award-winning ski resort offers epic snow tubing. Single and double tubes are available. Visit after dark for Galactic Snow Tubing, a special nighttime session with out-of-this-world lights and music.
Head out to Jack Frost Ski Resort in White Haven or its sister resort, Big Boulder just down the road in Lake Harmony for an awesome snow tubing experience. It also helps that both resorts are equipped with conveyor carpets and cable tows to get you back up the hill.

Take a wild ride down Montage Mountain’s snow tubing lanes. Their tubing park is lighted so that the fun continues, even after the sun goes down.

Fulfill your need for speed at Shawnee Mountain Ski Area’s six-lane snow tubing park. The resort offers single tubes and parent/child tandem tubes for a day of family fun.
