Frozen Fun at NEPA’s Snow Tubing Spots

Skiers and Snowboarders Don’t Get to Have All the Fun

You don’t need epic carving skills or fancy equipment to make the most of the winter sports season. Many of NEPA’s ski resorts have snow tubing lanes where the whole family can race down the slopes. All you have to do is plop down in the tube, push off and enjoy the wind in your face and the thrill of the adrenaline rush. It’s all the fun of sledding, but with higher hills, longer runs and helpful lifts (no trudging back uphill!).

When it comes to tubing, NEPA goes all out. Our very own Pocono Mountains are home to two of the largest snow tubing parks in the country at Blue Mountain Resort and Camelback Resort. Some resorts even offer nighttime tubing, which is like a party on the mountain complete with lights and music.

Put on your boots and bundle up for the best snow day ever at these local snow tubing destinations. Just remember, some resorts are requiring reservations or selling online-only tickets. Make sure to check their policies before you head out.
