Frozen Fun at NEPA’s Snow Tubing Spots

Posted: December 23, 2019
Skiers and Snowboarders Don’t Get to Have All the Fun

Snow tubing is an easy way for the entire family to hit the slopes.
You don’t need epic carving skills or fancy equipment to make the most of the winter sports season. Many of NEPA’s ski resorts have snow tubing lanes where the kids (and the young at heart) can race down the slopes.
When it comes to tubing, NEPA goes all out. Our very own Camelback Mountain is home to the largest snow tubing park in the country. Or head over to Blue Mountain Resort, which has the longest snow tubing run in Pennsylvania. Some resorts even offer nighttime tubing, which is like a party on the mountain complete with light shows and music.
The best thing about snow tubing is that it’s super easy—just plop down in the tube, push off and enjoy the wind in your face and the thrill of the adrenaline rush. Once you get to the bottom, don’t worry about trekking back up the mountain. Most resorts have lifts or tows that will carry you and your tube back to the top.
Don’t catch cabin fever this winter. Put on your boots and bundle up for the best snow day ever at these local snow tubing destinations.
