Pottsville’s historic Yuengling Mansion welcomes holiday shoppers and nostalgia seekers alike. Pop in on Saturday and Sunday, December 5 & 6 for The Schuylkill County Council for the Arts’ 12th Annual Christkindlmarkt. The traditional German holiday market features local artisan vendors, crafters and so much more. Even if you’re not shopping, you don’t want to miss this elaborately decorated, early 20th century marvel of Tudor-Jacobethan Revival architecture.

The Walk In Art Center in Schuylkill Haven is another unique venue for holiday shopping. Their outdoor holiday market on December 5th offers handmade gifts, treats, and plenty of festive cheer.

The Schuylkill region consistently ranks high in Pennsylvania for Christmas tree production. Pioneer Evergreen Farms in Orwigsburg offers beautiful trees and an abundant assortment of gifts and décor. While Christmas carols fill the air, friendly staff will greet you and be sure you know exactly where to go. The folks at Pioneer Evergreen invite you to bring the family out and plan to cut your own Christmas tree this year.
