A Legacy of Culture & Education
Founded by Dr. Isaiah Fawkes Everhart, a dedicated philanthropist and naturalist, the museum has grown to house expansive collections across the humanities, fine arts, and natural sciences. Visitors of all ages can explore over a dozen galleries showcasing everything from historic paintings and contemporary sculpture to geological specimens, fossils, taxidermy, minerals, and more. The museum’s natural history collections include birds, mammals, reptiles, insects, and botanical herbaria—making it a favorite destination for curious minds and aspiring scientists.
