The Community Chanukah Celebration at the Friedman JCC in Kingston takes place on Sunday, December 21, 2025 and brings families and community members together for an evening filled with light, tradition and holiday joy. The festivities begin with the Mayrutz Run at 5:00 PM, followed by the ceremonial Chanukah lighting at 5:30 PM, offering a beautiful moment to honor the holiday’s meaning.

At 6:00 PM, guests will gather for a festive Chanukah dinner featuring a kosher dairy menu under the supervision of Temple Israel. The meal includes salad, salmon, pasta, mac and cheese, latkes and sufganiyot—classic favorites that make the evening both warm and memorable.

The celebration offers a full experience of community connection, seasonal spirit and meaningful tradition. Tickets are $25 for adults and $8 for children, with scholarships available to ensure everyone can participate.
