With the Click-Clack of the Big 6 Wheel and the Crunch of Potato Pancakes, NEPA Bazaar Season is Back
As rows of string lights begin to pop up across parking lots, you know the sound of unrestrained laughter and mouth-watering smells will soon fill the air. It’s bazaar season and we can’t wait to play some Instant Bingo, hit the beer tent and fill up on delicious food.
Regardless of location or cause, bazaars ultimately serve as celebrations of community, bringing NEPA together through food, music and fun. So, start planning your weekends now, because we’ve rounded up a few can’t miss bazaars, festivals and carnivals.
July 7 – 9
You can’t beat homemade food, games for grown ups and kids, rides and live entertainment.

Crown the new King or Queen of Kielbasa at Plymouth’s favorite festival. Head to Main Street for a weekend filled with live music, local vendors and, of course, all the kielbasa you can eat.

One of NEPA’s most beloved festivals is back. Whether you’re watching the parade, running the Ultimate Tomato 5K or checking out local vendors, one thing is for sure: you’ll be enjoying some of the area’s best Italian cuisine along the way.

You won’t be able to tell the difference between Sweeney’s Beach and Dublin at the 3rd Annual Irish River Fest. Come out for an afternoon of raffles, family-friendly fun and bagpipers.

Head to North Canal Street Park for four evenings filled with fun. The Shickshinny Carnival has games for the kids, a beer tent for the grown-ups and live music for the whole family.

Get in one last hurrah before the school year starts at this festival for the kids. Hazle Township Community Park will have bounce houses, obstacle courses, food vendors, fireworks and so much more at this family-favorite event.
September 2 – 3
This annual festival at St. Martha’s Church offers homemade Polish food, BBQ chicken dinners, an indoor flea market, live music and plenty of games and activities. They even have their own café with coffee and desserts.
