It’s October! Fall is officially official. The gorgeous oranges, yellows and reds of autumn are reaching their peak. Everybody’s brainstorming those perfect Halloween costumes. We’re thinking hayrides, afternoons at the apple orchard and evenings by the fire pit. And if you’re looking for a little more autumn fun, you’ve come to the right place.

In NEPA, there’s no better season for long days at the park than fall. The hiking trails are exploding with color. Hop in a kayak for a view from the water. Jump in a slingshot and cruise to all of those picturesque, leaf-peeping spots. Or, do it all on horseback.

And before you call it a day, check out one of those restaurants with tables by the fire. Stop by your favorite brewery for a few, fresh fall beers. Sip away the evening at one of NEPA’s scenic wineries. And when tomorrow comes, do it all over again.
