20 Can’t Miss Events in May

Make the Most of Spring (or Start Summer a Little Early) this May with Festivals, Baseball and More

We don’t let summer sneak up on us here in NEPA. Sure, the calendar still says spring, but as soon as warmer days begin to overtake cooler ones, we’re moving everything outside. Well, almost everything. From festivals and fairs to baseball games and concerts, May is made for getting a jumpstart on that seasonal bucket list.

And if that’s not enough reason to celebrate, May 7th is 570Day! Show your NEPA pride by dining at your favorite restaurants, supporting local businesses and paying a visit to the area’s beloved parks. Be sure to use #570Day to share the good vibes.

  • Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders

    May 2 – 7, 9 – 14 & 23 – 28

    It’s not spring in NEPA without baseball. The RailRiders season is in full swing with games against the Rochester Red Wings, Omaha Storm Chasers and Worcester Red Sox this month. Get out to PNC Field to cheer on the home team. Or just to load up on ballpark snacks, we don’t judge.
