20 Can’t Miss Events in June 2022

Bring the Heat this June with 5Ks, Pirate Rafting Trips and Festivals & Fairs For All

It might be safe to finally say “It’s summer!” After May teased us with a warm day here and there, June is really bringing the heat (and we think it’s here to stay). In NEPA, summer means getting outside, enjoying delicious food & drinks, catching live entertainment and, most importantly, staying cool.

Now is the time to take advantage of the area’s beautiful parks with hikes and bike rides. Or get extra adventurous with whitewater rafting excursions and camping trips. And with festival season in full swing, you can find fair food and entertainment just about every weekend.

June is the perfect time to start checking items off your summer bucket list. Dine at a new restaurant with outdoor seating or try to hit every ice cream spot in the area. Sit front row on the Phoenix at Knoebels or run your first 5K. Even when you think you’ve done it all, NEPA always has new things to do to keep your list growing all summer long.

It’s time to make this the best summer yet and DiscoverNEPA is here to help. Search our comprehensive events calendar to keep up with June’s hottest events. And if you need a little inspiration, check out our list of can’t miss events.
