12 Days of NEPA

If it’s December, our team here at DiscoverNEPA is gearing up to give back. Join us and so many incredible local businesses as we celebrate our 5th Annual 12 Days of NEPA.

You followed along all year as we got out there to tell those unique NEPA stories. We brought you behind the scenes at popular local restaurants. You joined us for stunning hikes and a few trips to local breweries. From alpacas to a big old pothole to rail bikes and so much more, we captured more than our fair share of NEPA’s coolest adventures.

Thank you for reading our stories, watching our videos, using our events calendar and for staying engaged with us on social media. You are the reason we are here. And, for all of your support, we’re teaming up with over 225 incredible, local businesses to pay it forward with nearly 275 unique prizes.

Keep your eye on our social media channels from Friday, December 1 through Monday, December 18. We will launch a contest each business day on both Facebook and Instagram. The daily contests represent 12 unique prize categories and they will feature multiple winners each day.

Enter the contests by following the rules provided in each post. The contest posts also include a separate, non-social-media entry form located on our website. And make sure to subscribe to our newsletter for contest announcements and updates.

Friday, December 1

Enjoy the gift of NEPA’s most exciting live sports and entertainment. From ice hockey and baseball to live music, theater, an amazing day trip from Martz Trailways and much more, we’re kicking off our 12 Days with tickets to awesome local events.

Monday, December 4

Start the season right with a little help decorating the house. Our Day 2 prizes are all about spreading holiday cheer. We’re dishing out prizes that are sure to spark your holiday spirit and get you and your home in that festive mood.

Tuesday, December 5

On Day 3, we’re treating lucky winners to a handful of unforgettable, NEPA-specific adventures and experiences. Gear up for paintball, whitewater rafting, escape rooms, race cars and so many more incredible prizes.

Wednesday, December 6

Load up that holiday dessert table with meticulously crafted cupcakes and decadent chocolate treats. Day 4 is all about the sweets. Take home classic chocolate chip cookies, candies, pastries, pies and so much more.

Thursday, December 7

Day 5 is all about those incredible gifts that just didn’t quite fit into a category. It’s a mix of clothing, soaps and perfumes, home goods, handbags, jewelry, shoes and so much more. You’ll pretty much find it all on stocking stuffers day.

Friday, December 8

Take a well-deserved break from planning, shopping, decorating and wrapping with a hot, fresh, NEPA holiday classic – pizza. Day 6 celebrates the perennial NEPA favorite and its tendency to frequently “save the day” during the holiday craziness.

Monday, December 11

Wrap your hands around a cozy, warm cup of joy with our coffee, tea and hot chocolate-themed prizes from Day 7. Treat yourself to cappuccinos, lattes, cold brews and all that sweet pumpkin spiced goodness.

Tuesday, December 12

Brew up some December cheer with a few tasty pints of beer. Day 8 is all about celebrating NEPA’s craft beer scene and the hop heads who just can’t get enough of it. Enjoy prizes from awesome local brewhouses.

Wednesday, December 13

Ditch the holiday stress (and dirty dishes) for an evening out at one of NEPA’s incredible restaurants. Day 9 delivers with delicious gifts from awesome NEPA restaurants. Plan a future date night or a post-holiday family feast with one of these amazing prizes.

Thursday, December 14

Ok, Day 10 is kind of like reaching into Santa’s gift bag and blindly pulling out a prize. It’s a grab bag, if you will, of experiences, restaurant gift cards, spa days and so much more. Basically, there’s no telling what you’re going to get, but we guarantee you’ll enjoy it.

Friday, December 15

We’re bringin’ more booze on Day 11. This time, it’s all about homemade NEPA wine, spirits and hard cider. Spend your holidays sippin’ bold reds, fruity whites, crisp ciders and maybe even a cocktail or two.

Monday, December 18

The gifts have all been opened. The leftovers – eaten. The in-laws and awkward cousins – entertained. It’s time to get away. Day 12 gets you out of town and away from it all with stays at awesome NEPA getaways.
