The Wayne County Historical Society Museum, located in the heart of Honesdale, is perfect for an educational day trip and has enlightened the local community for almost one hundred years.
The refined brick building has exhibits open to the public, including Faces in Clay, an exhibit dedicated to the Native American history of the Upper Delaware River Valley, and Wayne County’s Glass exhibit that features pieces representing the county’s rich history in the glass making industry.
With many other off-site exhibits like the Old Stone Jail or the Bethel Schoolhouse, visitors can take a step back in time or even join a guided tour through history.
