It’s all about connecting artists with the community at the Wayne County Arts Alliance. Based in Honesdale, this organization holds events that showcase nearly two dozen local painters, sculptors, and photographers. Their monthly Second Saturday festivals are especially popular, featuring live entertainment and activities throughout downtown Honesdale. The Second Saturday festivals also kick off a new cycle of the Art-a-Pelago, a series of pop-up galleries that rotate among local businesses. An annual studio tour runs each summer, where you can visit art studios across the county, chat with local artists, and admire their latest collections.
