The Dough Company in Wilkes-Barre has been serving up pasta and pizza since 1985.
The name says it all—they make all their own dough, as well as their own homemade meatballs and sauces. Their soups and sauces are made from scratch to give them an authentic home-cooked flavor. They also have gluten-free, whole wheat, and dairy-free options.
The Dough Company also serves beer and wine by the glass.
No one can resist indulging in a little pasta once in a while. Try their homemade lasagna with its layers of rich cheese and meat sauce. Seafood lovers should sample the decadent blue crab ravioli which is stuffed with ricotta cheese and vegetables and topped with a creamy sauce.
The whole family will love the pizza, the only question is which kind to choose. Check out their gourmet pizzas like the French onion pizza, which is topped with caramelized onions and smothered in cheddar and provolone cheese.
The pagach is a NEPA favorite. It’s like a pierogi in pizza form, featuring a blend of cheese, mashed potatoes, and a bit of onion folded in a double crust.
