Pompei’s owner and Naples native Gennaro Manganaro knows his stuff when it comes to authentic Italian food. He’s been working in the food industry since he was 11, opened Pompei’s in 1986, and has been bringing a little taste of Italy to Tunkhannock ever since.
Be sure to try the Manganaro family’s Italian specialties like the eggplant parmigiana or the gnocchi sorrentina. For seafood dishes, sample the shrimp alfredo or spaghetti pescatore that features a mix of clams, shrimp, scallops, and calamari. You can always grab a hoagie for lunch on the go.
