Preserving the Glory of the Gilded Era
Located just an hour from Scranton, the Phelps Mansion Museum in Binghamton will give you a glimpse of life in the Victorian period. The mansion is the last of its kind in the neighborhood and is named a National Historic Landmark. Their guided tours and educational exhibits will take you on a journey through time.
Famous architect Isaac G. Perry built the mansion in 1870. It was home to Sherman D. Phelps, a banker, businessman, and mayor of Binghamton. Today, the historic furniture, décor, and artwork bring the Victorian era back to life.
Guided tours are available Friday through Sunday. Call or check online for tour times.
