The Majestic Theater is an intimate, 202-seat performing arts venue in historic downtown Pottsville. Originally built in 1910, this landmark theater produces its own stage productions. They also host live concerts, movies, children’s workshops, and theater camps.

Majestic Theater has hosted everything from local talent to celebrities. In summer 2021, they proudly welcomed legendary actor Ed Asner to the theater for a one-man show.

As a nonprofit, the theater is dedicated to enriching, entertaining, and educating the community. You can show your support by becoming a member, attending an event, and supporting their fundraisers. The theater is also available to rent for private parties and events.
