Crisp Apples and Sunflower Fields
Cool autumn days are made for trips to Lakeland Orchard & Cidery in Scott Township. Formerly known as Roba Family Orchard, this farm is still family owned and operated.
Apple picking is always a fall tradition at the orchard. Take a wagon ride out to the fields and fill up your basket. They have 20,000 apple trees and over 30 varieties to choose from.
The zinnia and sunflower fields are in full bloom in late summer and early fall. Explore acres of endless flowers, perfect for photo ops and picking your own bouquet.
The kids will have a blast with fall-themed attractions like the Pumpkin Bounce and Jenn’s Giant Corn Box (we’ll admit, even the adults can’t resist jumping in). The orchard also has a carousel, Cow Train Express ride, and goat corral.
For the adults, the Cider Garden is the perfect spot to enjoy a cold glass of hard cider and live music. Yard games and axe throwing make it feel like the coolest backyard party ever.
During the holidays, Lakeland Orchard and their sister business, Roba Family Farms, become “choose and cut” Christmas tree farms. Trek through the fields and find the perfect tree the old-fashioned way.
