The Center Pointe of Dance

Keystone Ballet Academy in West Hazleton provides classical ballet training based on the Vaganova technique. They use a progressive syllabus which allows every student to improve at their own pace. The focus is on learning proper technique in a positive and fun environment with easy-to-understand class instruction and individual corrective guidance.

Ballet classes start at age 3 in Kinder-Barre. Pre-ballet is for ages 6-8. Ballet training begins with Level A1 for ages 8-12. Students train for three years before they are considered ready for pointe shoes.

Keystone Ballet Academy also offers tap for ages 6 through adult and jazz for ages 9-12. All students are required to take a ballet class in addition to tap or jazz.

The studio specializes in teaching ballet to older teens and adults who want to start dance. Many adults are now training and dancing in pointe shoes across the country, and Keystone Ballet Academy is happy to help you achieve that goal in a progressive and safe manner.
