Located right across the street from the Harry Packer Mansion, Kemmerer Park is a beautiful green space. It features a basketball court, tennis court, pavilion, and playground. Take a stroll along the walking path, which leads through the trees. The park is especially beautiful in the spring when the flowers are in full bloom.
Kemmerer Park is named after Mahlon S. Kemmerer, a local leader in the coal industry. The park is built on his former estate, and it continues to honor his legacy.
The park is within walking distance of the town’s main parking area on Lehigh Street. Meter parking is also available nearby.
